Urban Outfitters recently announce it’s Pride collection, which is a collection done in efforts to support the LGBT organization GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network). According to GLSEN’s about page, GLSEN is the leading national education organization focused on ensuring safe and affirming schools for all students, regardless of sexual orientation and gender expression.

The collection is composed of 7 pieces: 1 long sleeve tee, 3 short sleeve graphic tees, 1 tapestry and 2 basketball hats. Some tones recognized are Pink, Blue and White. These pieces were all designer by UO’s in-house designers and 100% of their profits will be donated to the organization GLSEN.
Chicago artist Taylor Bennett will also be featured as the campaign’s ambassador, considering the fact that he recently came out as bisexual earlier this year. This was shortly before releasing his album, Restoration of an American Idol. According to Taylor:

Honesty and being yourself is something that I believe should always be a celebration–whether it’s in hip-hop or everyday life”

Urban Outfitters has also sponsored Bennett’s first music video, “Roof Gone” from his new album. The video will be released on the Urban Outfitter’s YouTube channel in mid-June, as Bennett promises that it’ll be “one of the craziest videos” viewers will have ever seen.
The collection is now available at Urban Outfitters online and in stores across North America.
