However, the collab has reached a barrier on May 18th when a community board (no.2) voted to reject the proposal for Supreme and Louis Vuitton’s pop-up event. This event was supposed to take place on 25 Bond st. in late July and early August over the course of 2 days but the proposal called for the sidewalks to be blocked off for the course of 4 days.
“Therefore Be It Resolved that CB2 Manhattan STRONGLY recommends DENIAL of the Louis Vuitton/Supreme (Product) Launch, Bond St. between Lafayette St. and Bowery to be held from 6/29/17 – 7/2/17.” – Community Board No.2

According to the community board of 32 members, the proposition lacked a line management plan, considering the fact that they could not accommodate this crowd.
