Japanese designer Junya Watanabe teamed up with The North Face to bring us a very interesting collection unveiled at Paris Fashion Week on Friday, January 20th 2017. The collection surprised us with a very futuristic approach to styles that we’ve all worn and seen many times before. Attaching geometric shapes to sweaters, Jackets, bombers and Blazers are one of the ways in which he set out to accomplish this. Printing words on denim sweaters and hoodies were also anther way he set out to accomplish this. The diversity of colors used were very eye catching ranging from bright colors like yellow, red, white and orange, to even darker colors like olive green, brown, black and blue were very much appreciated. And all these aesthetics make this collaboration one of our favorite from Paris Fashion Week and I am very excited to have this brand in my focus for the Fall Winter 2017 season and I hope you feel the same. Have a look for yourself:
