Yesterday, avant-garde, Seoul based designer brand , BMUET(TE) unveiled their Fall Winter 2017 collection in Florence at Piti Uomo trade show. With their unconventional designs and garish streetwear and ready-to-wear looks, this is one of our favorite unconventional brands, globally. There’s something to admire about a label that pushes the boundaries and take takes risks. Even if the risk, isn’t well received, generally, I guarantee someone will appreciate it and it inspires people to push the boundaries even farther. BMUET(TE) is the perfect example of a brand that does this and we admire their latest collection. Take a look at some of our favorite looks from the runway show below.
We really adore this oversized peacoat. Long line and wool great are two great combinations for the season and the design team at BMUET(TE) made a really nice choices of fabric.
This blazer is also a really great piece from the collection. We’re not sure whether there is a longer piece attached to it or if this is layered by styling. Either one it is they did a really good job on both the styling and the design. Please be advised, I don’t believe that the belt restraining the model’s shoulder is built in. This was probably just for styling and presentation purposes.
This shirt is also another nice piece to admire. The collar is something very forward as well as the pleating that runs along the front. The cuff is also really nice to admire. We can’t get enough of these forward unconventional designs.
This motor jacket is also another piece that we admire. The long sleeve trend is definitely making its round and this makes us very excited to see what people will be wearing in the fall winter 2017 season. The straps on the trousers makes the trousers very interesting as well.
This sweater, comedic, yet forward is another piece that made it on our list of things from the collection we really admire. We not only like the long sleeves but the versatility and functionality makes it rather praiseworthy.
This peacoat is a really cool piece to admire. I’ve seen other blogs/magazines trash the look because of the belt around the shoulder. So, if the ‘restrained-shoulder’ style something you dislike, please keep in mind also that this belt seems to be removable. Also, If you like the ‘restrained-shoulder’ styling, the belt is re-adjustable making it perfectly functional. There are also loops around the shoulder are also holding up the belt to keep it from falling if it happens to be too loose.
These trousers, we really like because of its bagginess and its unique silhouette.
