H&M is about to unveil their first unisex denim collection. From looking at their lookbook, you can tell this collection is going to be pretty groundbreaking. Not only because so many people take to denim, but also because we’re living in a society where gender is becoming less definitive, and the fashion industry has been known for welcoming such changes. I am also not alone in my beliefs as the spokesperson for H&M, Marybeth Schmitt states, “It is very natural for us to launch a unisex collection as fashion is constantly evolving and intersecting and today we see there are no boundaries in democratic style. Fashion should always be inclusive.”
Some of the profound pieces from the collection are jackets, hoodies, overalls, shorts and high neck t-shirt. The pieces are made from both organic and recycled cotton with a variation of washed, ranging from light to dark. Have a look at the collection below:
The Collection will drop on H&M’s website March 23rd.
